London Fashion Weekend

Clothes, Cameras, Candy

As London Fashion Week came to an end, I went to London Fashion Weekend at Somerset House for its closing day. I was lucky enough to experience it with my younger cousin :), who enjoyed it as much as I did! We walked through the area, looking at all of the stalls in the Showspace, and appreciated the fashion of fellow LFW goers.
We headed to the Vodafone lounge and managed to get front-row seats to watch a conversation with Caroline Flack and Marisa Hordem, Creative Director of Missoma Jewellery. It was so interesting to hear how a company can blow up overnight through hardwork and determination. We then looked around at the vintage area, which my cousin loved, and she even managed to get two free tickets to a vintage fashion show when talking to a designer!
I couldn't resist buying the LWF Holly Fulton tote bag, which was filled with some goodies - including a Galaxy orange and shortbread chocolate, mmmm!! I'm yet to try the sample products, but they look promising! When walking to collect my bag, we stumbled upon the Diet Coke green screen. Here, you could decide upon three different backgrounds and take a picture for free - a lovely way to remember the day! We then heard about a room where you could book an appointment to get your hair and make-up touched up, then took a picture which would be printed to look like the front cover of Elle Magazine! But by the time we got here, a man told us that the group were going on a lunch break and we'd have to wait two hours.
As it was the end of the day (and our stomachs were rumblingggg too!) we decided to skip the wait and walked to Covent Garden. It was a b.e.a.uuuuutiful day and walking along the Thames and past the Savoy Theatre was so lovely!! We ate at Garfunkels - cannelloni for me! my fav! - and walked on to Cyber Candy, where I got a selection of American candy for my brother, as it was his birthday. All in all, it was an amazing day. x

* I wore a dress from Bodytalk Fashions, cardigan from Forever 21, blazer from H&M, tights from Primark, Converse and raisin coloured Longchamp.
