Inglot Haul.

Recently I went on a trip to Westfield with my sister, who was looking to purchase a new foundation and spend . I went along for the trip, and ended up buying even more from Inglot. Though I was pleased that my 5 Inglot items cost less than her 1 Mac product :D. I thought I'd share what I got as I'm happy with them overall.

Just Dessert... Drinks?

I am a self-confessed junk food addict, and love nothing more than a treat for my sweet tooth. So, you can imagine my joy when the wonderful web led me to these amazing dessert drink recipes!

1. Hot Fudge Brownie Milkshakes

Whenever I go to a dessert place, I like to opt for something with brownies. So to see this drink version of the famous hot fudge sundae as right up my alley, and something I definitely want to try! Click here to find out how to make it!

2. Nutella Milkshake
Okay, I have abit of a confession to make - I've only ever tried Nutella ONCE in my life. But I did love it, any excuse to make chocolate in a sandwich seem normal is fine by me! I even know some people who love eating Nutella straight out the tub, and I really don't blame them. Here's some tips on how to spruce up a chocolate drink to a chocolate dream!

3. Banana Cream Pie Milkshake
Being a lover for all things junk food, I tend to stray from any dessert that doesn't have chocolate in it if I can help it! But I know that this Banana cream pie milkshake is something alot of people would like, and even I have to admit it does sound rather yummy!

4. Skinny Oreo Milkshake

I felt like it wouldn't have been right to do a blog about dessert drinks and not include the classic Oreo milkshake! I've always loved Oreo milkshakes, and with this one claiming to be only 118 calories, how could anyone say no?!

Are any of these something you guys would enjoy? Let me know if you're thinking to try any! x

Minty Fresh.

Hey Guys!

I was flicking through the gorgeous gowns worn at the Cannes International Film Festival this year, and came across Diane Kruger's amazing mint dress...

Isn't it just lovely?! The floating bottom makes it appear dreamlike, and the draped material over the top corset gives it a Grecian feel. She finished the look with a neat up-do and simple jewelry, giving her a very polished and elegant appearance. I love that she opted for a mint gown, keeping to the pastel trend for this summer. I thought it'd be handy to create a Mint Green Moodboard to show you guys some of the best mint coloured items on the high street for the summer!

Get The Look: Lauren Conrad

Get The Look: Lauren Conrad

Promoting her new book, The Fame Game, Lauren Conrad decided on a neutral colour palette for her LA signing.. Rocking a sheer white vest with embellished collar and a beige flared skirt, Lauren's simple outfit was perfect for the occasion, showing style and elegance without being under or over dressed. Her cream heels added a touch of dressy, creating the perfect look of femininity. Known for her amazing style shown over her time on The Hills, Lauren added a twist to the outfit, finishing it with feline flicks** at the end of her eyes and a sleek ponytail, showing off her vibrant pink dip-dye tips. Look above for inspiration on how to get Lauren's outfit from the high street... :)

**For great feline flicks, I'd recommend Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (£16.50) and Inglot's 17TL or 31T eye brush. Both brushes are significantly cheaper than they would be in major cosmetic stores and they're amazing at creating flicks! If you're looking to experiment with different eyeliners and don't want to spend too much then I'd recommend Maybelline's Eye Studio Gel Liner (£7.99 including the brush! Bargain! It's available at Superdrug under their 3 for 2 offer, and NUS Extra card holders get 10% off!!). I brought this eyeliner for my mum's birthday and it's just as good as my Bobbi Brown gel!

Happy Bank Holiday Monday! :) Hope everybody's having a lovely day off, despite the rubbish weather! x

Get The Look: Mila Kunis

Get The Look: Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis makes us forget about the torrential rain that has been coming down lately with this cute outfit, mixing two current trends - pastels and metallic. Pairing metallic shorts with a pink nude blouse; the Black Swan star polishes the look with a black blazer, adding a touch of smart/casual to the outfit. Her heels also compliment her shorts, both teaming up to flatter her legs. Finishing with some loose curls and natural make-up, the Friends With Benefitsactress exudes simple and pretty, creating a versatile look for work, a meal out or party. Here’s how to create Mila’s look for less on the high street!... x

'So, where do you see yourself in 5 years?...'

Dissertation has been handed in and students are living in the 24hr library, and now we have to answer the the most terrifying question of all: 'What do you want to do with the rest of your life?'
From a young age I've had a strong passion for English, though never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I've always known that I'd like my future career to involve a heavy amount of creative writing, and this is why journalism is my ideal career field. So, with lots of endless research (and mis-matched sized nails from all the biting), I decided to apply in hopes of studying a masters in Journalism. I managed to reach the first stage, meaning I had to visit the university for, quite possibly, the most nerve-racking interview of my life!
Whilst the university hosts some amazing facilities and the course seems like everything I want to study, and more, it was definitely a daunting experience. And certainly one which I have learnt alot from.
I never know whether to go down the trouser or skirt route for something like this, but here's what I wore on the day in an attempt to appear smartly dressed. Being up at 6.30am meant that no-one was around to take a clear picture of the whole outfit, and so, my skirt has blended into the darkness of the shot! I am so in love with this Aldo bag, and will hopefully make use of it if I manage to score any of my dream internships! x
